Optimum wants enthusiastic, motivated, and self-driven individuals to join as a Retail Sales Consultant. In this role, you will be a brand ambassador in-store, forging connections, exceeding sales targets, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will leverage your unique personality to become an in‑store sales expert for Optimum's connectivity solutions and grow your professional skills with support from leaders and peers.

• Serve as the first point of contact, creating a welcoming environment and listening to customers to recommend appropriate products.
• Use product knowledge to educate customers, stay current with industry trends, and recommend best solutions.
• Assist customers with billing, service questions, payments, equipment issues, and troubleshooting technical problems.
• Act as the local face of Optimum, exemplifying professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm while representing company values.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share knowledge, and provide backup support to maintain exceptional customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of retail selling experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Proficient with computer and technical skills to support customer solutions.
• Ability to travel to other stores within 35 miles (if required for the location).
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work full time, including weekends as necessary.

Pay:
The starting pay range at hire is $33,696.00 – $55,357.00 per year.
