Gericke North America is searching for a Sales professional to work on site in Somerset, NJ.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow a sales territory by maintaining relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will represent the Gericke Group as a trusted partner to our customers, while adhering to company values and policies. As a member of our team, you will serve as both an advisor and solution provider throughout the sales process.

Driving and scaling the business is our primary focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve personal and company sales targets
  • Communicate regularly with current and prospective customers, providing solutions and managing all sales activities within your territory
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to provide feedback and updates on opportunities and pipeline status
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records for all leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
  • Represent the company in alignment with all procedures, values, and policies
  • Conduct cold outreach, including outbound calls to prospective clients
  • Research and identify potential leads through directories, web searches, and other resources
  • Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns, conferences, and trade shows
  • Build and maintain a strong database of prospective clients within the CRM system
  • Track and report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance metrics
  • Continuously develop, manage, and grow a healthy sales pipeline
  • Demonstrate strong influencing skills and a results-driven mindset
  • Exhibit an energetic, outgoing, and professional demeanor
  • Effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently
  • Travel as required to support customer engagement and business development
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Outside sales or technical sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Interest in industrial equipment and delivering strong customer solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
