Position OverviewThe Sales Agent at Go Create Payments is responsible for developing new business relationships, onboarding merchants, and delivering payment solutions that support the operational and financial success of small and mid‑sized businesses.
This role is designed for a motivated, self‑directed professional who thrives in a performance‑based environment and values both independence and accountability. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, the Sales Agent operates with autonomy while leveraging the tools, systems, and support provided by Go Create Payments to build a sustainable book of business.
Key Responsibilities Business Development- Identify, prospect, and engage small and mid‑sized businesses within assigned or self‑developed markets
- Conduct consultative conversations to understand business needs and recommend appropriate payment solutions
- Present pricing, services, and product offerings in a clear, accurate, and professional manner
- Guide merchants through the application and onboarding process
- Coordinate underwriting submissions and required documentation
- Ensure timely installation, activation, and readiness to process transactions
- Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, active opportunities, and installed merchants
- Utilize provided systems to track activity, follow‑ups, and performance metrics
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships to support retention and referral growth
- Effectively use Mind Me CRM & Marketing Platform to:
- Manage contacts and opportunities
- Automate follow‑up and stay engaged with prospects
- Support relationship marketing and referral generation
Sales Agents are supported with tools designed to drive efficiency and consistency, including:
