Job Overview

Full‑Time Construction Installer for Rentokil in North Brunswick & Parsippany, NJ. This traveling position involves working 8‑12 hours per day, up to 50+ hours a week, and covering 2‑week travel blocks across the U.S. Transportation, lodging, and meals are provided for travel periods.

• Use hand and power tools to install bird deterrent products (netting, spikes) in commercial facilities such as distribution centers, transportation hubs, and aircraft hangars.
• Work at average heights of 40 ft, primarily in aerial lifts, roofs, and scaffolding.
• Maintain safe work practices and company guidelines during bird control services.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships, communicating actions taken and providing clean and orderly work sites.
• Train company colleagues on bird and bat application methods.
• Report any unusual circumstances or problems to supervisors, sales representatives, or district office management.
• Participate in group meetings to improve customer service and service delivery.
• Identify potential bird or bat problems and apply preventive measures.
• Complete initial technical training and ongoing update training.
• Maintain personal equipment and vehicle in clean, operational condition.
• Assist sales and management personnel in reviewing accounts and upgrading services as needed.
• Complete timely administrative reports and customer documentation.
• Meet productivity targets based on training, experience, and account type.
• Use power equipment and aerial work platforms correctly.
• Participate in off‑hours and weekend services when requested.
• Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp or dusty locations.
• Use application and inspection equipment, and small hand and power tools as required.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to enter and exit structures, work in crawl spaces, climb or balance on structures up to 60 ft.
• Uninhibited of heights and capable of using aerial work platforms and Hilti power actuated equipment.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Willingness to obtain any required industry licenses.
• Flexible with working hours, including nights, weekends, and extended hours (up to 50‑60 per week) to meet customer needs.

Hourly rate ranging from $19.00 to $35.00, with potential variation based on location, skills, education, experience, overtime, incentives, and performance. Full-time colleagues may be eligible for performance incentives and involvement in route assignments.
