Job DescriptionWe are seeking hardworking and dependable Outside Construction Laborers to support our fiber optic construction projects. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work, are eager to learn new skills, and want to be part of a growing industry. The technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber‑to‑the‑home service drops including both aerial and underground drop installations, as well as mounting and setting up customer house boxes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the installation of fiber optic infrastructure, including digging, trenching, placing conduit, and setting handholes.
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely while maintaining clean and organized job sites.
- Support construction crews with material handling and site preparation.
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.
- No prior experience required—training is provided.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Previous construction or utility work.
- Experience with fiber optic installation.
- CDL.
