Field Service Technician – Amazon TEB3 – Logan Township, NJ

This hourly, non‑exempt position supports fuel cell products installed in electric lift trucks. Duties include preventive maintenance, breakdown resolution, installation, servicing, and customer reporting.

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to keep the fleet operational.
• Carry out specialized service procedures, including field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades.
• Provide on‑call and emergency support as required.
• Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for service operations.
• Support maintenance of high‑pressure hydrogen storage, 480
  
  VAC, flammability, cryogenic liquid, high‑pressure gas, and fueling systems.
• Maintain communication with customer personnel and hydrogen suppliers regarding aftermarket support.
• Provide feedback to regional service representatives about performance and maintenance issues.
• Complete administrative duties: incident reports, service logs, inventory maintenance, and site/system documentation.
• Enforce safety procedures at customer sites.
• Travel as needed and drive safely abiding by traffic laws.
• Represent Plug Power professionally.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum high‑school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• At least 3 years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience; related formal training may be considered.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.
• Capability to lift 50lb unassisted on a regular basis.
• Knowledge of lift‑truck operation and applications preferred.
• General mechanical aptitude required.
• Computer and software skills:
  Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, creative problem‑solving, and independent work ability.
• Time‑management and multitasking capabilities.

• Pay: $24.50 - $28.50 per hour.
