Cashier

As a Pomptonian cashier your ability will be called upon to maintain all monetary transactions, recognize reimbursable meals in the National School Lunch and/or School Breakfast Program, interpret and record eligibility information at point of service, and be aware of the procedures approved by the Bureau of Child Nutrition.

Assist with food preparation as needed. Backup other team members as required, and assist in any area. Demonstrate a positive, upbeat attitude and deliver superior customer service.

Participate in annual continuing education/training program.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, lifting (25-50 pounds).
• Ability to use general cafeteria equipment (e.g. warmer, fryer, slicer, grill, POS system, etc.).
• Ability to come to work promptly and regularly.
