- New Jersey / New York / Washington DC area. Candidates are expected to be available to visit the New Jersey office and/or the client office (near Washington DC) on an occasional basis.
We are looking for a highly skilled and hands‑on Full Stack Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern web technologies, experience leading offshore teams, and a track record of delivering high‑quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of full-stack applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to offshore development teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and releases.
- Actively contribute as a hands‑on developer (coding, debugging, reviewing).
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering standards.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across distributed/global teams.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership.
- Strong Python and Django expertise in distributed/multi-service systems and proficient in Node.js, React, Type Script, Graph
QL. - Strong Docker and container orchestration experience (especially Docker Compose in local dev environments).
- Experience leading developer platform or internal tooling initiatives.
- Experience integrating frontend and backend systems in microfront end and microservice architectures.
- Strong Linux and shell scripting skills; comfortable with Make-driven developer workflows.
- Proven ability to improve CI/CD reliability and automate quality checks.
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Dev Ops practices.
- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL/No
SQL). - Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in leading offshore / distributed teams.
- Strong track record of delivering projects on time and per requirements.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong ownership mindset and accountability.
