Playwright Automation Test Engineer

Job Title

• 8+ years of relevant experience

• Test Development:
Create, maintain, and execute automated UI and API test scripts using Playwright.

• Experience in Selenium and API test Automation.

• Framework Design:
Build or enhance scalable, reusable automation frameworks.

• CI/CD Integration:
Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git) for continuous testing.

• Cross-Browser Testing:
Validate web application functionality across Chromium, Firefox, and Web Kit.

• Collaboration & Quality:
Partner with developers to analyze PRDs, identify gaps, and ensure high test coverage.

• Defect Management:
Analyze test results and report bugs using tools like Jira.

Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.

Languages:

Proficiency in Type Script or JavaScript.

• Testing Types:
Experience with UI testing, API testing (REST/JSON), and backend validation.

• Tools & Technologies:
Knowledge of Docker, cloud testing platforms (Browser Stack/Sauce Labs), and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
