Sr. Technical Consutant Sr. ServiceNow Developer

Job Title

This will suit an experienced candidate primarily involved in mapping data from various systems into Service Now, ensuring the efficient and accurate transfer of information, and supporting integrations with other tools and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Service Now modules, data transformation, and integration best practices.

Designing, developing, and deploying service maps, working with discovery patterns, and ensuring accurate representation of IT services and their underlying infrastructure. Strong understanding of CMDB, its structure, and its relationship to ITOM.

Develop and implement data mapping solutions to move and integrate data between Service Now and external systems.

Create mappings between different data sources and Service Now objects. Ensure data integrity and consistency during data migration and integrations.

Assist in the integration of Service Now with external systems through middleware, APIs, and connectors.

Work closely with the development and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between Service Now and other applications.

Configure and customize Service Now modules and workflows to meet specific business requirements.

Support configuration changes related to mapping and data transformation requirements.

Perform unit and integration testing to ensure data flows correctly from external systems into Service Now.

Validate the accuracy and completeness of the data after mapping and integration.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of data mappings, workflows, and integrations.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for issues related to data mapping and integration.

Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and business processes.

Participate in Service Now release planning, identifying any mapping-related changes or upgrades that might affect the platform. Monitor and optimize the performance of integrations and data mappings.

Recommend improvements to streamline processes and enhance system efficiency.

Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of Service Now ITOM Discovery & Service Mapping and integrating data.

Hands-on experience Service Now – ITOM (CMDB, Service Mapping) Strong experience with Service Now integration tools like Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP, MID Server, and other integration technologies.

Experience working with Data Transformation tools (e.g., Import Sets, Data Sources, Transform Maps).
