Location: New Jersey

Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000

The Air Export & Ocean Import Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operational lifecycle of both air export and ocean import shipments. This role serves as the critical link between global suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and domestic clients.

• Manage and execute the daily operations of air export and ocean import shipments from A to Z, ensuring compliance with TSA, US Customs, and international regulations.
• Coordinate directly with airlines, ocean carriers, co-loaders, overseas agents, and domestic truckers to ensure timely transit and delivery.
• Receive, review, and process critical shipping documentation, including Air Waybills (AWB), Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Arrival Notices.
• Proactively monitor shipment statuses, identify potential delays, and implement swift solutions to minimize demurrage and storage risks.

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in both Air Export and Ocean Import Operations within a freight forwarding environment.
• Strong knowledge of air/ocean freight documentation, Incoterms, TSA regulations, and US Customs import procedures.
• Prior experience handling specialized commodities (such as beverages, perishables, or temperature‑controlled cargo) is highly advantageous but not required.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with carriers and clients alike.
