Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Location: Pataskala, OH
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: Starting at $22/hr (Negotiable; Dependent upon experience and qualifications)
Job SummaryRidge Corporation is seeking an experienced manufacturing support professional for a full‑time employment opportunity. The chosen candidate must have knowledge of shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory, and production practices in a manufacturing environment. The candidate must be comfortable with technology and possess at least a basic level of computer skills including spreadsheet development and usage. Previous work experience in a fast‑paced industrial environment is required.
The person selected will be working directly with production, purchasing, shipping, and receiving personnel.
- Responsible for tracking accuracy of scans to locations in provided tracker
- Responsible for allocations of production schedules daily
- Help manager with physical inventory as requested
- Perform daily inventory cycle counts per established company procedures or requests from plant manager, purchasing, scheduling, and/or accounting to align and support system inventory levels
- Complete M.I.A tracking, including training front‑line employees on process and mistake‑proofing as it relates to inventory control
- Adjust labels and inventory transactions as found and ensure labels reflect the correct quantity as shown in ERP system
- Ensure FIFO is being followed by heavy lift team and production operators
- Review pick tickets for accuracy daily
- Review inventory transactions and activity across multiple systems to troubleshoot inventory issues to root‑causes
- Report inventory findings to lead inventory coordinator and cross‑functional management teams to collaborate on solutions to avoid repeat of trouble issues/practices
- Monitor and record current inventory levels, including reconciling stock counts to computer reports in ERP software
- Must be able to navigate ERP software and troubleshoot inventory issues including end‑of‑shift production reconciliation
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure:
- Ongoing training for all warehouse and production staff is relevant to address known issues
- Accurate and clear labeling of all inventory locations
- Proper stock rotation practices (FIFO)
- 1. High school or college graduate
- 2. Work experience in a fast‑paced industrial environment
- 3. Ample knowledge of standard manufacturing inventory control, shipping and receiving procedures
- 4. Familiarity with cycle counts, physical inventories, and receiving inspections
- 5. Ability to perform visual validation of received merchandise to quality, description and package details from original purchase order
- 6. Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at one time and to independently troubleshoot problems
- 7. Excellent time management and communication skills
- 8. Willingness to work overtime when needed
- 9. Ability to work both independently and with a team
- 10. Warehouse management systems experience preferred with ability to perform RF functions
- 11. Forklift operation certification required. Must be acquired on the job within 90 days
- 12. Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures
- 13. Crane experience helpful but not required
- 14. Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- 15. Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions
- 16. Ability to be self‑motivated
- 17. Willing and able to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and rotating days off
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 75 lbs
