** The Equipment Maintenance Technician Shift Leader is responsible for maintaining industrial machinery and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment in a production setting. This role combines hands-on technical skills with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
** Responsibilities:
*** Maintain and handle machinery using various tools and equipment; interpret diagrams, blueprints, and sketches.
* Lead technical improvement projects, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate the introduction of new equipment.
* Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure equipment meets quality and safety requirements.
* Provide guidance to the maintenance team, helping them achieve departmental targets.
* Organize training sessions for equipment maintenance, safe operations, and continuous skill enhancement.
* Oversee daily operations including spare parts management, purchasing, and safety stock settings.
* Handle technical summaries, problem investigations, SOPs, and report machinery issues promptly.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes and reducing maintenance costs.

* Qualifications:

*** A high school diploma or equivalent.
* 3 years of related experience, or equivalent specialized training and/or certification.
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* At least 1 year of leadership experience is preferred

Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere.  This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area.
