Royal Craft Kitchen Assistant Manager - Pataskala

What You’ll Do

• Guide team members through daily tasks to keep the kitchen running smoothly and boost sales performance.
• Supervise staff in cooking, serving, packaging, and counter service to ensure quality and consistency.
• Oversee storage, rotation, and maintenance to keep ingredients fresh and minimize waste.
• Assist with food inventory, ordering, and sales goals to meet department targets.
• Create shift schedules and assign responsibilities to keep coverage balanced and efficient.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members to set them up for success.
• Ensure staff follow company policies, food safety standards, and store procedures.
• Verify that all products are properly labeled with correct pricing and expiration dates.
• Track stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Operate and care for kitchen tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Receive, unload, and organize incoming food deliveries promptly.

• Education – High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience – 1+ year of leadership experience in retail or food service
• Leadership – A team-first mindset with strong communication skills
• Operations – Comfortable with leading, inventory, and basic store systems
• Tech comfort – Familiar with POS systems and basic software (Word, Excel, Email)
• Serve Safe certification – Required or willingness to obtain
• Customer focus – Committed to creating a welcoming experience for every guest
• Stamina and mobility – Physical tasks are part of the role: expect repetitive movements like bending and reaching, standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and working in outdoor areas or temperature‑controlled spaces like walk‑in coolers.
