Sales Representative

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Representative to drive residential and/or commercial solar adoption within an assigned territory. This is a consultative, field-based sales role focused on educating customers, generating new business, and closing high-value renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities New Business Development
  • Prospect and generate new residential and/or commercial solar leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, networking, events, and inbound inquiries.
  • Conduct in-home or on-site consultations to assess customer energy needs.
  • Educate customers on solar energy systems, cost savings, tax incentives, and financing options.
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and manage follow-ups.
Sales & Closing
  • Present customized solar proposals and ROI analysis.
  • Overcome objections and negotiate pricing and financing terms.
  • Close sales and guide customers through contract execution.
  • Maintain high close ratios and consistent sales volume.
Relationship Management
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with homeowners and business owners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact through installation handoff.
  • Maintain positive customer satisfaction ratings and referral activity.
Performance & Reporting
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Track activity, pipeline, and sales performance in CRM systems.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
  • Previous outside sales experience preferred (solar, roofing, home improvement, HVAC, or related industries highly desirable).
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Self-starter with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
