Sales Representative

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Representative to drive residential and/or commercial solar adoption within an assigned territory. This is a consultative, field-based sales role focused on educating customers, generating new business, and closing high-value renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities New Business Development- Prospect and generate new residential and/or commercial solar leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, networking, events, and inbound inquiries.
- Conduct in-home or on-site consultations to assess customer energy needs.
- Educate customers on solar energy systems, cost savings, tax incentives, and financing options.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and manage follow-ups.
- Present customized solar proposals and ROI analysis.
- Overcome objections and negotiate pricing and financing terms.
- Close sales and guide customers through contract execution.
- Maintain high close ratios and consistent sales volume.
- Build trust and long-term relationships with homeowners and business owners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact through installation handoff.
- Maintain positive customer satisfaction ratings and referral activity.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Track activity, pipeline, and sales performance in CRM systems.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
- Previous outside sales experience preferred (solar, roofing, home improvement, HVAC, or related industries highly desirable).
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed.
- Self-starter with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
