POSITION: Teaching Assistants (PT) - Regional Summer High School at Bay Shore 2026
PROGRAM SITE: Bay Shore High School is the tentative location, dependent on contract and budget approval
PROGRAM DATES:
Registration Days
July 1, 2
8:00 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m.
Classes
July 8 - August 13
Monday to Thursday
7:20 a.m.
- 11:25 a.m.
Regents Prep, Exam & Scoring August 17 - 21 Hours for these dates will be based on student need. Final Reporting Day August 21
Hours for these dates will be based on student need.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides additional support to the classroom teacher in order for student learning objectives and outcomes to be met by all students
- Takes direction by the classroom teacher when it comes to both instructional and classroom management needs
- Communicates with all staff, administrators, and parents/guardians when called upon to do so
