POSITION: Substitute Teachers (PT) - Regional Summer High School at Bay Shore 2026
English 7-12 Middle School Extension Foreign Language (Spanish) Physical Education Health Science 7-12 (Chemistry, Earth Science, Earth and Space, Life Science, Living Environment) Library Media Specialist Social Studies 7-12 Mathematics Special Education
PROGRAM SITE: Bay Shore High School is the tentative location, dependent on contract and budget approval
PROGRAM DATES:
Registration Days
July 1, 2
8:00 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m.
Classes
July 8 - August 13
Monday to Thursday
7:20 a.m.
- 11:25 a.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs, implements, and supports student learning objectives and outcomes in an engaging way to meet the needs of all students
- Aligns instructional content and lesson plans to meet the NYS Regents examination in August and/or Final Examination
- Provides consistent classroom student management throughout the duration of the Regional Summer School Program
- Communicates with all staff, administrators, and parents/guardians when called upon to do so
START DATE: July 1, 2026
SALARY: $51.90/hour
