Bay Shore High School is the tentative location, dependent on contract and budget approval

Program Dates:

• Registration Days
  - July 1, 2 - 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Classes
  - July 8 - August 13 - Monday to Thursday - 7:20 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.*
• Last Day of Classes
  - August 13 - 7:30 a.m.
  
  - 4:00 p.m.
• Regents Prep, Exam & Scoring
  - August 17 - 21 - Hours for these dates will be based on student need.

* 30 minutes of prep may be added to day if needed. Additional hours required Administrative approval.)

Responsibilities:

• Designs, implements, and supports student learning objectives and outcomes in an engaging way to meet the needs of all students
• Aligns instructional content and lesson plans to meet the NYS Regents examination in August and/or Final Examination
• Provides consistent classroom student management throughout the duration of the Regional Summer School Program
• Communicates with all staff, administrators, and parents/guardians as needed.
• Ability to read and implement IEPs and effectively support special education students
• Ability to work collaboratively with administrators to support student learning and program goals

Important to note this opportunity requires FULL attendance

Start Date:

July 1, 2026

Salary: $51.90/hour (requires FULL attendance)

May have the opportunity to teach two (2) sections

Regents assignments may create the opportunity for additional pay
