Teaching Assistants (PT) - Regional Summer High School at Bay Shore 2026

PROGRAM SITE:
Bay Shore High School is the tentative location, dependent on contract and budget approval

PROGRAM DATES:

• Registration Days
  - July 1, 2 - 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Classes
  - July 8 - August 13 - Monday to Thursday - 7:20 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.
• Regents Prep, Exam & Scoring
  - August 17 - 21 - Hours for these dates will be based on student need.
• Final Reporting Day
  - August 21 - Hours for these dates will be based on student need.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides additional support to the classroom teacher in order for student learning objectives and outcomes to be met by all students
• Takes direction by the classroom teacher when it comes to both instructional and classroom management needs
• Communicates with all staff, administrators, and parents/guardians when called upon to do so

IMPORTANT TO NOTE THIS OPPORTUNITY REQUIRES FULL ATTENDANCE

THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES

START DATE:

July 1, 2026

SALARY: $18.60/hour (
* requires FULL attendance)

• May have the opportunity to assist two (2) sections
• Regents assignments may create the opportunity for additional pay
