Practice Support Associate

As a Practice Support Associate for Catholic Health, you will be responsible for a variety of clerical duties to help facilitate the daily functions of the Physician Practice.

This is a travel position located in NYC, traveling to Queens, Brooklyn & Long Island. Required schedule:
Monday 11am to 7pm, Tuesday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm or 9am to 5pm. Must have front desk Physician Practice experience. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling physician correspondence, preparing patient charts for visits, contacting insurance companies for referrals and authorizations, and assisting patients with various tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED required; an associate's degree or completion of a related specialty program in an accredited school is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills, multitasking ability, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to use, maintain, and troubleshoot office equipment are also required.

Posted salary range: USD $21.00 - USD $27.42 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
