Field Service Technician Team Lead - Retail Electronics

Action Link is seeking a Technician Team Leader to guide a field-based team executing in-store retail experiences for leading consumer electronics brands. In this role, you will coordinate daily schedules, assign and inspect technical display set-ups, ensure planogram and merchandising compliance, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues on demo units. You will coach and train technicians, track performance metrics, report results to managers and clients, and ensure brand standards are met across multiple retail locations.

This position blends hands-on technical work, field leadership, and client-focused problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule a team of field technicians across multiple retail locations
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of in-store consumer electronics displays
• Ensure planogram, merchandising, and branding standards are executed accurately
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on demo units
• Train and coach team members on technical procedures and retail execution best practices
• Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback to drive results
• Communicate regularly with managers and clients on project status and outcomes
• Document work completed, issues encountered, and inventory changes
• Maintain tools, equipment, and safety/compliance standards in the field
• Support new program rollouts and special retail initiatives as assigned
