Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. This full‑time, on‑site role will support the daily financial operations of our fast‑paced food and beverage business. The ideal candidate has strong accounting experience, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is comfortable adapting to evolving processes.
What You’ll Do:Financial Operations
- Support daily accounting and financial transactions
- Assist with weekly and monthly billing cycles
- Participate in collections efforts using client‑specific platforms
- Prepare and issue weekly commissary invoices for core business operations
- Reconcile invoicing and payments with the Events team weekly
- Track receivables and support collection processes
- Post journal entries and reconcile checkbooks to the general ledger
- Review unit‑level financial statements and work with regional teams to resolve discrepancies
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and related postings
- Prepare and make deposits; ensure accurate posting to the general ledger
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Collaborate with operations teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
- Assist with accounts payable as required
- Provide general support to the finance and operations teams
- Contribute to improving and streamlining accounting processes and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry
- Proficient in accounting softwares, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and numerous other online based apps
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to process improvement
