Cost Accountant (Temporary Project)

Location: 100% Remote

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant for a temporary, project-based engagement. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, leverage strong Net Suite expertise, and support key cost accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.

• Analyze and maintain standard costs, including updates and variance analysis
• Review and reconcile inventory, COGS, and related accounts
• Partner with operations to evaluate cost drivers and identify efficiencies
• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Generate and analyze cost reports, providing insights to leadership
• Support process improvements and system optimization within Net Suite

• Strong cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based environment
• Hands-on experience with Net Suite (required)
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting and quickly get up to speed
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders

• Fully remote
• Immediate start preferred
• Short-term / project-based engagement (with potential for extension)
