Accounting Manager

A stable and well-established company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support executive leadership.

• Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Supervise and support one Accounts Receivable team member
• Process weekly payroll
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities
• Initiate and process wire transfers
• Coordinate bank deposits and occasional business-related post office activities
• Provide financial reporting and supporting documentation to an external CPA firm
• Partner closely with outside accountants during month-end and year-end processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience in a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar role
• Experience with Quick Books preferred
• Experience processing payroll through ADP strongly preferred
• Understanding of AP, AR, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Ability to work independently in a small-company environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
