Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our manufacturing financial operations. You will analyze production costs, manage inventory valuations, and partner with plant operations to drive cost efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills to turn plant floor data into actionable financial insights.

• Cost Accounting:
  Maintain standard cost systems and analyze manufacturing variances.
• Inventory Control:
  Reconcile raw materials, and finished goods ledgers.
• Month-End Close:
  Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and plant financial statements.
• Operational Analysis:
  Partner with production managers to identify waste and optimize yield.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
  Assist in developing annual plant budgets and monthly operational forecasts.
• Audit & Compliance:
  Coordinate physical inventory counts and support internal and external audits.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years strictly in manufacturing.
• Certifications:
  
  CPA, CMA, or progress toward them is highly desirable.
• Software:
  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems ideally MS Dynamics 365 or GP.
• Core
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong understanding of GAAP, data analysis, and cross‑functional communication.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus

Salary range is determined based on the individual's skill sets, experience, licensure, and location. The position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and includes medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
