Salary: $63,600 - $106,000

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for overseeing a team of 3 staff accountants and daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable, invoicing, and general ledger management. This position will report to the Controller. This position is located at our Cherry Hill Corporate office.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of the accounting team.

Duties include:

• Manage accounting personnel including supervision, tasking and training
• Review and post A/P, billing and journal entries
• Assist with month end close including account reconciliations and updates to accounting schedules
• Review and process payroll
• Oversee cash management
• Coordinate with Finance, Contracts and HR on cross-departmental matters
• Manage and update financial policies and procedures
• Assist with audits and other compliance matters
• Assess and implement new processes to increase efficiency

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years related experience as a manager
• Government contracting experience a plus
• Detail-oriented and able to process a high volume of transactions accurately
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Deltek/Costpoint, and/or other accounting/ERP systems a plus
• Strong PC knowledge (especially Microsoft Office Suite)
