Associate Tax Accountant

A growing organization is seeking an Associate Tax Accountant to join its tax team and support U.S. and global tax compliance activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career tax professional who is looking to expand their experience across nonprofit, corporate, international, and indirect tax areas.

The ideal candidate is a motivated accounting or tax professional with 0–2 years of experience who enjoys learning, problem-solving, and working in a collaborative environment.

• Assist with preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
• Support nonprofit tax compliance, including Forms 990 and 990-T
• Assist with indirect tax filings (sales & use tax, VAT/GST)
• Support international tax reporting and information filings, including 1099 and 1042 reporting
• Perform tax research and basic reconciliations
• Maintain tax documentation, policies, and compliance processes
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on tax-related matters

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
• 0–2 years of tax and/or accounting experience
• Exposure to tax preparation, compliance, or tax research preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); tax software experience is a plus
