Academic Affairs Technical Assistant (Part-time)

Passaic County Community College is seeking a Part‑time Technical Assistant to provide support to the Office of Academic Affairs. This position reports directly to the Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.

• Data entry for assigned projects.
• Research assigned projects.
• Assist with data collection.
• Troubleshoot issues as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 24 credits from an accredited college/university required.
• Previous experience in an office setting preferred.
• Superior computer skills and knowledge of various software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, One Drive, Excel, and research engines required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this position is $16-$20.

• New Jersey Sick Leave:
  Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year (eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period).
