Senior Project Business Analyst

Our customer is seeking a Senior Project Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives across the enterprise. This hybrid position will partner with business and project stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, improve business processes, support project delivery, and drive organizational change. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise with project management experience and excels at collaborating across cross‑functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.

• Partner with business and project stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Develop business cases, business/use cases, process documentation, test plans, test scripts, and supporting project documentation.
• Support project planning, execution, and organizational change management activities across multiple initiatives.
• Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) activities, including functional requirements, vendor evaluations, scoring criteria, demonstrations, and selection support.
• Facilitate process improvement initiatives by creating process maps, value stream maps, workflow documentation, and future‑state recommendations.
• Develop project success metrics, ROI reporting, and performance measurement activities to evaluate project outcomes.
• Collaborate with project managers, business leaders, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to improve project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Support testing, user acceptance activities, training, and implementation efforts for new processes and solutions.
• Promote business analysis and project management best practices across the organization.

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Business, Healthcare, Healthcare IT, Management, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting medium‑to‑large enterprise projects.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, developing use cases, and supporting testing and implementation activities.
• Knowledge of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) methodologies and business analysis best practices.
• Working knowledge of Project Management (PMBOK), change management, and risk management principles.
• Experience facilitating process improvement initiatives, workflow analysis, and business process documentation.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Healthcare, research, or academic industry experience preferred.
• Project management experience, budgeting exposure, and certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, PMP, CAPM, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt are preferred.
