Account Manager
Roadtex Transportation is a leader in the nationwide LTL industry, specializing in transporting time and temperature‑sensitive products. As an Account Coordinator, you will manage the daily operations of transactional clients, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded through diligent support and collaboration with internal and external partners.
Responsibilities- Support a portfolio of transactional accounts, executing tasks that drive operational success.
- Prioritize standard daily duties and ad‑hoc requests to meet account needs.
- Enter pickup and delivery requests for client shipments.
- Assist in resolving Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable issues.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Senior Account Executives to provide world‑class customer service.
- Proactively communicate issues to the team.
- Manage relationships within accounts.
- Gain competency and adopt Roadtex/Echo technology to work efficiently.
- High school diploma required; a 2‑year community college or vocational degree highly preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or logistics.
- Proven track record of multitasking and problem‑solving, especially with challenging customer issues.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures with little to no oversight.
- Clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Works well in a fast‑paced team environment and collaborates effectively with others.
