AWESOME OPPORTUNITY!! IMMEDIATE HIRES. We are in search of MULTIPLE Customer Service Representatives to join our team in the insurance industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with assisting customers in their benefits enrollment process, confirming customer identity, and maintaining accurate customer records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity with the potential to extend!
Responsibilities- Assist members in completing their benefits enrollment through a computer‑based phone system and web‑based enrollment portals.
- Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain precise customer credit records.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.
- Confirm the identity of each member at the beginning of each call to ensure security.
- Review the elections at the end of the enrollment and send members a confirmation statement of their enrollment via the portal.
- Use MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook to manage and track customer interactions and data.
- Perform data entry tasks in both alphanumeric and numeric formats.
- Collaborate with enrollment managers to ensure smooth processing of all steps of the enrollment process.
- Proficiency in data entry alphanumeric and numeric.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Prior experience in a customer service role within the health insurance industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to effectively address customer issues.
- Willingness to stay updated on new products and services in the health insurance industry.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Higher education or certifications in related fields will be an asset.
