Early Childhood Educator - Inclusion Support

THE OPPORTUNITY:

A.B. Paterson College’s Early Childhood Centre is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Inclusion Support Educator for a Maximum Term, Part-Time position (25 hours per week). Our Centre operates between 7:00am and 6:00pm, and this role will be rostered for 5 hours per day within those operating hours.

Our Inclusion Support Educators play a vital role in ensuring every child can access, participate in, and benefit from our early learning program. Working alongside educators, families, and support professionals, you will help create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment for all children.

As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will:

• Make a meaningful impact on the early lives of our future leaders.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Provide targeted support and implement inclusive strategies aligned with individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with educators to adapt programs, routines, and learning environments.

• A.B. Paterson Banjo and Friends is a 126‑place centre with 3 Pre‑Prep classrooms and 66 Pre‑Prep places
• Children aged 3–5 years in Pre‑Prep
• Spacious campus with an abundance of green space and lush gardens
• Relax in our dedicated staff facilities featuring massage chairs and fully equipped kitchen and dining area
• Onsite café serving barista coffee and food, as well as nearby dining precinct
• Walking distance to Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area, one of the best places to spot wildlife on the coast

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in early childhood studies (desired) or Certificate III working towards Diploma
• Experience supporting children with additional learning, developmental, or behavioural needs (highly regarded)
• Sound understanding of inclusive practices and child development
• Up to date First Aid including Asthma, Anaphylaxis Management and CPR Certificate
• A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Experience using Kindy Hub and Xplor Playground Software systems will be highly regarded
