Qualifications:

• Hold a current license by the NJ Board of Medical Examiners in Medicine or Osteopathy and shall have a training and scope of practice that includes child and adolescent health and development
• Show evidence of successful health care experience working with children and adolescents.
• Shall have completed the Student Athlete Cardiac Screening Professional Development Module
• Hold a driver’s license with no serious violations
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, wellness education, community health and social service resources, and current health issues
• Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and the interpersonal skills to relate with students, staff, administrators, parents, school nurses and the community and health and social service agencies.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary
