St. Gerard Majella School, a PreK8 Catholic school located in Paterson, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Pre-Kindergarten Teacher for a maternity leave in September 2026. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, NJ Teacher Certification or eligibility, understanding of early childhood development and best practices, ability to integrate faith and values into the classroom environment, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons that foster curiosity and foundational skills, creating a welcoming, inclusive classroom rooted in Catholic values, collaborating with colleagues and families to support student success, and maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment. Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000.
