Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and passionate Spanish teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence and student growth, bring creativity to instruction, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and standards‑based instruction
- Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect student needs and curriculum goals
- Establish a classroom culture that promotes learning, respect, and high expectations
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Assess and track student performance; provide feedback and intervention as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership
- Participate in professional development sessions and school‑wide initiatives
- Support school events, field trips, and community‑building activities
- Complete administrative responsibilities including attendance, grading, and lesson planning
- Adhere to all school, district, and network policies and procedures
- Valid New Jersey CE, CEAS, or Standard teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
- Must pass a criminal history background check
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience
