Teacher Grade 6-8 Language Arts Bilingual

Qualifications:

• Hold a New Jersey Elementary Teaching Certificate with a middle school ELA endorsement or K-12 English certificate with a Bilingual/Bicultural Education endorsement (Spanish)
• Knowledge of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management.
• Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators and the community.
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
• Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, digital technology to augment authentic learning, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications
• Must be computer literate
• Highly motivated result-driven educator

• Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
