Position located at Camden County Technical School in Sicklerville, NJ. This role is part of the School, Community and Workforce Training Programs department.

Overview Camden County College (CCC) is a leading two‑year community college with campuses in Blackwood, Cherry Hill and Camden, New Jersey. Days and Hours – 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Job Description

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction aligned with the approved curriculum on a daily basis.
• Develop lesson plans that support student learning outcomes and workforce readiness.
• Organize and maintain instructional materials, tools, equipment, and supply inventories.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, including grading and attendance tracking.
• Provide timely, accurate, and constructive feedback on student performance, behavior and participation.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable industry standards, laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, integrating this knowledge into daily instruction.
• Demonstrate the proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student behavior and instructional progress.
• Model professionalism, reliability, and respect to contribute to a positive school culture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Proficient written communication skills, including ability to prepare reports, complete student evaluations, document student progress and email students and staff.
• Proficient computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal communication skills for classroom instruction and student engagement.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Field‑related license/certification, e.g., OSHA 10.
• Preferred: NJ Journeyman Electrician license, NJ Electrical Contractor license, NCCER certification, or comparable industry, military, union, or state‑recognized certification.

Physical Requirements

Requires mobility throughout the campus, dexterity with computers, and the ability to stand, walk, lift, and operate hand and power tools up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach while demonstrating equipment installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
