OverviewIn the role of Adjunct:
Computer Integrated Manufacturing Engineering Technology, you will report directly to the Director of Engineering and Technology Programs and teach a face‑to‑face course for the CIM program. The assignment is for a one-semester course that meets twice a week. The teaching assignment includes the course CIM‑211 PLC Programming.

Days and HoursTuesday and Thursday, 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Position Goals- Teach the CIM‑211 PLC Programming course, deliver lectures and laboratory sessions, and assess student learning.
- Support CCC’s commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment that values diversity, fosters civility, and promotes the professional growth and well-being of all community members.
- Present theory-based lectures covering numbering systems (Hexadecimal, Octal, Binary, Decimal), electrical theory of PLC modules, and operators such as AND, OR, XOR rungs, timers, counters, and latches.
- Conduct laboratory experiments using Allen Bradley PLC hardware and RS Logix 500 software, design and modify laboratory assignments, and evaluate student performance.
- Assess student learning through tests, quizzes, and laboratory reports.
- Submit final grades to the college’s grading system.
- Minimum of three years of college, university, or high‑school CIM teaching experience, or three years of industrial CIM training.
- High School Plus CIM instructors are encouraged to apply.
