Overview

As an Acquisition Associate with B&D Holdings, you will support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of acquisition opportunities. This role involves market research, financial analysis, due diligence coordination, and assisting in transaction management to help grow the company’s industrial property portfolio. You will work closely with senior leadership in an entrepreneurial environment where your contributions directly impact portfolio growth.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain financial models including scenario and sensitivity analyses.
  • Conduct initial screening and underwriting of opportunities.
  • Coordinate documentation and communication during due diligence and closing.
  • Perform due diligence, including review of leases, operating expenses, and third-party reports.
  • Prepare investment materials for the Investment Committee and capital partners.
  • Research market trends, demographics, and economic drivers to support acquisition strategies.
  • Maintain acquisition pipeline reports, databases, and transaction tracking tools.
  • Support transaction closings, ensuring all required documents and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support asset management with repositioning, refinancing and disposition strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 2+ years (3-5 years preferred) in acquisitions, real estate investment, underwriting, or a related analytical/deal-focused role (private equity, REIT, institutional lending, investment banking, or transferable experience)
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Argus, PowerPoint, and real estate databases (e.g., CoStar, Loop Net).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
