Position: Financial Analyst / Budget Analyst (Job#723)

Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Financial Analyst to join our team. This position will play a critical role in providing budgeting and financial management support to Project Lead Joint Services (PL JS), leveraging Government systems like GFEBS to ensure accurate financial oversight, reporting, and compliance in support of defense programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide budgeting and financial management support, serving as a primary point of contact for Government technical direction and responsible for the direct supervision and tasking of assigned Contractor personnel as needed.
  • Routinely support budgeting and financial management activities using various Government databases, including the General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS). This includes budget planning, budget and account reconciliation, Purchase Request (PR) creation, and other system activities.
  • Run reports and demonstrate fluency in navigating the reporting side of GFEBS to assist PL JS with monitoring and managing the expenditure of PL JS funded projects within the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) executed at Government Owned Government Operated (GOGO) ammunition plants, Depots, Joint Munitions Command, and other Army Materiel Command sites.
  • Analyze financial data and develop routine and ad‑hoc reporting, including charts, graphs, and other visualizations.
  • Support taskers such as Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP) audit readiness and execution analysis, including research funding transactions, obligations, and disbursements.
  • Compile, organize, and report financial information while maintaining compliance with relevant requirements and providing actionable insights to support PL JS mission objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and verifiable).
  • U.S. Citizenship (required due to clearance and federal contract).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or financial management, preferably within the DoD or defense industry.
  • Strong proficiency with Government financial systems, particularly GFEBS, and experience with budget planning, reconciliation, reporting, and audit support.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop reports, charts, and visualizations from financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
