We are seeking an energetic and dependable Call Center Representative to handle a high volume of calls and assist patients with scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and general inquiries. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, organized, and able to multitask in a busy healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
- Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and empathy.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and referral requirements.
- Schedule, reschedule and confirm patient appointments according to office protocols.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Route messages and calls to the appropriate staff.
- Provide patients with pre-appointment instructions.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer and typing skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and prior orthopedic or medical office experience is preferred.
Pay: $17.50 – $21.00/hr

Ortho
NJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to include the salary range for this role. The hiring range for this role is $17.50 – $21.00/hr the range for this role is typically determined by several factors, including the geography in which the selected candidate will be working, and alignment with qualifications and experience. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation (bonus, etc) and/or benefits.
In addition, full‑time employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vision and retirement plan.
