Job Description
- The position is in the Child Development Center.
- Working with patients with a variety of developmental disorders.
- Experience in evaluation and diagnosis of developmental disorders, testing, and evaluation is essential.
- The position is part of a multidisciplinary team comprising a neurodevelopmental pediatrician, BCBA, ABAs, RBTs, APN, PA, and a social worker.
- The psychologist is part of the Binder Autism Center, delivering parent psycho‑education workshops, parent training, family counseling, facilitating groups and more.
Provide clinical assessment and treatment services to clients with a variety of mental health issues. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide optimal, quality services. Responsible for completion of client medical records, in compliance with regulatory standards, and for developing discharge plans and linkages to encourage functioning within the community.
Qualifications- Hold a Doctoral degree in Psychology or Social Work with three to five years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment.
- PhD or PsyD license (or post‑doctoral permit) required in the state of New Jersey.
- Bi‑lingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles to perform analyses, and summarize data to solve problems.
- Ability to prepare detailed assessments of patient referrals, counsel individuals, groups, or families, or perform other duties requiring strong communication skills.
