We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, community relations, and performance management. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage HR processes and foster a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Assist with facilitating onboarding and training development for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain employee records through accurate data entry and data collection to support HR initiatives.
  • Working with the Senior Manager of Human Resources to plan, execute, and build community wide events (philanthropic, financial pledges, and onsite/virtual engagement).
  • Support change management initiatives by communicating updates and facilitating training sessions.
  • Utilize HR software systems such as Paychex and Empower for payroll processing and employee data management.
  • Collaborate with management to develop effective talent management strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while managing contracts related to employment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in human resources or a related role is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in talent management, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Proficiency in data entry and data collection techniques with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with HR software systems such as Paychex is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of change management principles is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus.
