Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Guidewire Billing Center. This individual will play a crucial role in our billing transformation initiatives, focusing on data mapping, process documentation, and report development. The goal is to ensure the successful delivery of new billing reports and analytics. This position will require close collaboration with a support team to map and write report/dashboard requirements, including requirements capturing, documentation, and stakeholder involvement.
Key Responsibilities- Requirements Gathering & Analysis – Collaborate with stakeholders to understand billing report and dashboard needs, translate them into functional specifications, analyze existing workflows, and identify gaps.
- Mapping & Integration Support – Develop and maintain data mapping documents between Billing Center and the Data Warehouse, validate mapping logic, and ensure referential integrity across systems.
- Documentation – Create and update business process documentation, user stories, interface specifications, maintain traceability matrices, and version-control repositories.
- Reporting & Analytics – Define KPIs and metrics for billing performance, build and validate reports and dashboards using enterprise reporting platforms.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Clarify requirements, align deliverables, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
- Testing & Validation – Prepare test cases, validate report outputs, collaborate with QA teams to ensure data accuracy and performance benchmarks.
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst in P&C insurance, at least 2 years in Guidewire Billing Center.
- Strong understanding of billing processes, policy lifecycle, and integration points with Claim Center and Policy Center.
- Proven experience in data mapping, documentation, and report/dashboard development.
- Familiarity with Data Warehouse concepts and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Guidewire certification in Billing Center or Claim Center.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment – sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and iterative delivery cycles.
