Role: Ecommerce Full Stack Lead Developer on Big Commerce

Expectation: Lead who can advise, build and support the development of highly customized commerce experiences for B2C space.

Location/Experience: 8-12 Years Of Experience In US (New Jersey)

• Drive the designs and technical implementation of client stores and ecommerce-related requirements.
• Work with various CMS’s, themes and plugins to create functional stores to project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team to validate design UX & UI decisions and deliver on the overall project vision.
• Work alongside a small team of developers to discuss solutions, make decisions, estimate/validate, and ensure the technical feasibility of planned feature development.
• Report progress and elevate issues or slippage in a timely fashion.
• Troubleshoot problems and operate independently.

• Expertise in Big Commerce Platform.
• Worked extensively in Blueprint/Stencil Framework for Big Commerce.
• Template/Theme Creation for Big Commerce.
• Symfony HTML5 + CSS pre processors (LESS/SASS).
• Node.js.
• Webpack.
• Vanilla JavaScript/ES6.
• Responsive Frameworks – Foundation, Bootstrap.
• Fetch API + REST API.
• AJAX.
• Handlebars template language.
• Template Logic.
• NPM Package installation.

• 5+ years of experience with the Bigcommerce Platform, specifically a portfolio of stores.
• Platform certifications big PLUS.
• Full-stack development experience (REST APIs Backend, DB modeling, CI/CD, Deployment automation).
• Experience working within Agile project management methodology.
• 6+ years of experience in high-end front-end development.
• 5+ years of experience with PHP, Ruby, CSS, SCSS, Java script.
• 4+ years of experience with Git and code management.
• Experience creating Ecommerce Plugins/modules (public or private).
• Experience with React and Graph

• Experience with headless commerce.
• Experience with other ecommerce frameworks such as Commerce Tools, SFCC/Demandware, Magento.
