Job Description

A Systems Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains complex systems, ensuring they meet user needs and operate efficiently, serving as a bridge between stakeholders and technical solutions.

• Design and develop automated solutions.
• Configure and deploy automation tools (Red Hat AAP).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain and optimize automated systems.
• Monitor infrastructure, applications, websites, APIs, etc. (Datadog).
• Provide training and support.

Reports hierarchically to the Managing Director of Technology (Italy) and functionally to the Infrastructure Team Leader.

• Extensive experience within the information security/technology sector.
• Proven experience with Ansible and REST APIs.
• Proven experience with Azure, Azure Dev Ops, and working within CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience with IaC templating/complex automated workflow/provisioning.
• Experience with Service Now CMDB.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog or similar).
• Experience with job scheduler/SCM (AAP, Rundeck, Git).
• Jinja templating knowledge.
• Proven experience in incident management, service request management, and troubleshooting using RCA techniques.
• Expertise in deploying and maintaining business‑critical applications and solutions.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Outstanding English written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills.

• Experience of using ticketing systems and monitoring/management tools.
• Experience with cloud‑based solutions (Azure) – compute, storage, and network.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, Power Shell scripting.
• ITIL certification.
• Practical experience working in a RHEL environment.
