Senior Business Operations Manager & Cloud Recruiter at Bowman WilliamsWe are a growing IT Managed Services Provider based in Paterson, NJ that is seeking a MSP experienced Level 1.5 Help Desk Technician ready to take the next step in their career. This full-time, in-office role offers a fast track to a Level 2 position, making it a great opportunity for motivated professionals looking to deepen their technical expertise in a supportive, client-focused environment.
In this role, you’ll be the first line of technical support for business clients across a range of industries. You’ll handle help desk tickets, perform desktop and device support, troubleshoot Office 365 and basic network issues, and escalate more complex problems to senior team members. You'll also gain exposure to tools and technologies that support long-term growth in systems, networking, and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to Level 1 support requests via phone, email, and remote tools
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, Windows Server, printers, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
- Set up and support desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Create and manage tickets using PSA tools like Connect Wise or Autotask
- Document solutions and procedures in the internal knowledge base
- Collaborate with senior technicians and deliver clear, customer-friendly support
Requirements:
- 3+ years of IT support experience, ideally in an MSP or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Office 365
- Familiarity with RMM platforms and ticketing systems
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- A proactive attitude with a desire to quickly advance into a Level 2 role
Salary + Benefits:
