We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate activities, ranging from simple to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Axiom Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
AV Support Engineer / IT Desktop Support Engineer
to provide onsite technical support for end-user computing environments and audio-visual technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting corporate IT infrastructure, conference room technologies, collaboration tools, desktop systems, and executive users.
This position requires a professional who can independently troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and AV-related issues while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site support for conference room and meeting room technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AV systems, video conferencing platforms, and collaboration tools.
- Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Webex, and other conferencing solutions.
- Configure, maintain, and support projectors, displays, digital signage, microphones, speakers, cameras, and control systems.
- Perform routine health checks and preventive maintenance of AV equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors for escalated AV incidents and equipment replacements.
- Assist with executive meetings, town halls, presentations, and special events requiring AV support.
- Monitor AV infrastructure and proactively identify potential issues.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for end users.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Support Microsoft Office 365 applications, Outlook, Teams, One Drive, and SharePoint.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests.
- Support mobile devices including iPhones and Android devices.
- Perform software deployments, operating system upgrades, and patch management activities.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity, VPN, and wireless networking issues.
- Maintain asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of IT equipment.
- Follow ITIL-based incident, service request, and change management processes.
- Document troubleshooting activities and resolutions in ticketing systems.
- Deliver white-glove support to executives and business users.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
- Collaborate with global IT teams and third-party vendors.
- Participate in on-call support activities when required.
- Ensure adherence to security policies and corporate IT standards.
- 3+ years of experience in IT Desktop Support, End User Computing (EUC), or Technical Support roles.
- 2+ years of hands-on Audio Visual (AV) support experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Webex, or similar conferencing technologies.
- Knowledge of AV hardware including cameras, microphones, displays, speakers, and control systems.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
- Experience using ticketing systems such as Service Now, Remedy, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move IT and AV equipment when required.
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
- Experience with digital signage and room scheduling systems.
- Knowledge of AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or AMX.
- Experience working in enterprise or financial services environments.
