Maintenance Manager role at St. Joseph's Health

Responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating all components of the Engineering & Maintenance Department which includes SJRMC, SJWH, SVNH and satellites owned and/or operated by the healthcare system; includes evaluation, policy development and implementation. Directs, oversees, and evaluates all construction projects (internal and external) to ensure compliance with system standards and pertinent regulatory agencies. Responsible for ensuring the provision of the biomedical service contract as written.

• Manage, direct, and coordinate all components of the Engineering & Maintenance Department within the system.
• Evaluate and develop policies; implement standards across facilities and satellites.
• Direct, oversee, and evaluate all construction projects to ensure compliance with system standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the provision of the biomedical service contract as written.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Three to five years of previous supervisory experience in Maintenance and Engineering services.
• Analytical ability to resolve day-to-day problems related to supervising employees and to resolve technical or administrative issues requiring advanced technical training or extensive experience in a specific discipline.
• Valid driver’s license with no pending violations and an acceptable driving record as stipulated by SJH policy/insurance if required to drive a hospital vehicle.
