The Role

Calling all bold strategists and media powerhouses! The Senior Director of Paid Media is a high-impact leadership role at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchisor. This position is responsible for driving omni-channel paid media strategy for an assigned segment of our 25 global brands, plus our award-winning loyalty program, Wyndham Rewards.

This role is fast-paced, high-visibility, and results-driven, offering significant professional growth within the hospitality industry and the chance to hone leadership skills in a dynamic, matrixed organization. Success in this role will elevate Wyndham's brand visibility, drive guest engagement, and refine the future of paid media at a global scale.

This individual will work hand-in-hand with the VP, Media & Brand Marketing, Paid Media Directors, and the Marketing Effectiveness Lead, ensuring Wyndham’s media investments are optimized, agile, and continually evolving to maximize impact. What you'll do

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the omni-channel paid media strategy for an assigned segment of Wyndham’s brand portfolio, including Wyndham Rewards, ensuring alignment with corporate business objectives.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency, integrating individual brand initiatives within the assigned segment into a cohesive, high-impact media strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align priorities, present initiatives to executives, and shape long-term paid media growth plans.
  • Stay ahead of the curve—monitoring media trends, emerging technologies, and shifts in consumer behavior to optimize spend and maximize impact.
  • Partner with Paid Media Directors and the VP, Media & Brand Marketing to refine Wyndham’s overarching paid media strategy, ensuring fluid, agile, and high-performing budget allocation across all channels.

Financial Oversight & Performance Accountability

  • Manage and optimize paid media investments within the assigned segment while also consolidating spend and performance across all brand segments.
  • Lead financial roll-ups in collaboration with the analytics lead, providing Wyndham’s executive and financial leadership teams with actionable insights and high-level reporting.
  • Leverage advanced analytics and performance data to evaluate ROI, optimize investment decisions, and ensure full transparency and accountability.
  • Partner with Finance to align media investments with corporate revenue goals, ensuring every dollar spent drives measurable impact.
  • Own the strategic relationship with Wyndham’s media agency, ensuring best-in-class campaign planning, activation, and optimization across the assigned brand segment.
